The costumes

Well folks, here we are in November and here are my pictures from Halloween! Sorry, but at least I am still posting!

We obviously didn't do a family theme....Kip the redneck UNLV fan, me the 80's with a "Deb" side pony, and Sadie was little Red Riding Hood.
Macie the witch, Sadie Little Red, Gus was "Gus, Gus" the mouse, Bella the Barbie Rapunzel!

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween!

The last few years we have gone to the Pumpkin Patch with my siblings, their families and some of our cousins. It is fun because all of our kids are around the same age and we had a blast like always.

Happy Halloween!!!

"The Ride" we could NEVER get her off of...that she rode 3 times + 1 time for free

Shake yo booty!

My little Sadie loves to, what she calls " shake yo booty" ! It is the cutest thing I have ever seen and no matter when she does it or just starts dancing it always makes me laugh!

The first video she is watching Barney and this certain episode in the same spot every time she does this dance with them. It is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine and Kip's because we love watching her dance and we know she will do it EVERY time! Who says you can't exercise while watching a little TV, right? There is a spot in the video where she yells "WEEE" and its because there is a kid going down the slide, hilarious, I know! And yes, she has a baby in the carrier on her back!

video

This video was when we were in California and is a true testament to her "shake yo booty!"
*It pretty much is only the first 12 seconds she is dancing but I don't know how to edit the video, sorry!

Sadie's 2nd.

My Sadie girl just turned 2. I can't believe how fast time flies and that she has only been in our lives for two years. I can't remember what we did before her and can't imagine our life any other way. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

First we started the day with yummy blueberry pancakes.
Later that day we headed down to Toys R Us to pick up Sadie's new ride. Her cozy coupe!! She loves them so much that when she goes to kids houses who have them we have a fun time prying her little fingers from them, so we figured it was time to invest.
On another note, check out how Sadie strolls with her dad in the shopping cart. Don't worry she is still buckled in but it does work for keeping her in the cart for a few minutes longer than if she were sitting.
Then we went to Red Robin and Sadie got sung to, balloons and her own little Sundae, which by the picture looks like she is about to really enjoy but she never even takes a bite of it! We couldn't believe it, Kip and I were almost forcing her to try it and she still wouldn't!

The next day we had her Party at our house. Kip BBQ some delicious chicken while the kids went crazy turning my house upside down with the toys. It was all worth it we love the parties.

Sadie in her new ride, brought to you by Annie and Papi.
Some of the cuties.
Check out Sadie's face! It is hilarious she would not look at anyone while they were singing to her and had that same face until they stopped singing.
This girl had some serious fun and is totally worn out sitting with her dad.

Le Reve

Last Wednesday was my birthday! Kip must have been listening to me complain lately about wanting some new "going out" jeans and took me shopping for a new pair!! That night we had some delicious cheese cake, ice cream and some family and friends over. It was perfect. Then Kip had surprised me the next day with tickets to go see the a cirque show called La Reve at the Wynn!! Chad and Emylee hooked it up for their BFF so we all went together. Thanks Team B!! We had dinner at Cadillac Ranch at Town Square then headed over for the show. It was an awesome night and I can't wait for my birthday next year! Thanks everyone!!

(I realize there are a lot of exclamation's in this post but I just had the best birthday!!)

Yummy cheescake!

Best date!

The Fourth

This year, just like every year, we went to the River for the fourth. It involved, the usual......

The annual grocery trip in Parker with Sadie and Jax driving their car shopping cart and Z in his cart!

On a quick recap Sadie HATES sand, dirt, mud or anything on her feet with sandals on and the river beaches you need to wear some sort of water sandal or shoes, well these are the winner. Last trip Sadie wouldn't even put her feet down even IN the water for fear of sand or rocks getting in her sandals, so now its these water shoes which have saved my sanity!

Lounging at the beach

Cruising with dude on his sweet boat

.....Just to name a few! We had lots of fun Facers, we love and miss you all!
